Our English & Maths Functional Skills qualifications are intended to support learners as they seek to improve their literacy and numeracy skills.
Achieving these qualifications will increase learners’ confidence and motivation, and the skills they gain will be valuable in the workplace or in any further learning.
What will I learn on the course?
Our maths and English qualifications can take just 8 weeks to complete. You might only need to cover a few subjects, depending on what you need to learn. We’ll check what qualifications and skills you already have so we can put together the right mix of learning for you. This means you’ll only do the subjects you need to – so you don’t have to learn what you already know.
We offer course at different levels:
- Entry 1
- Entry 2
- Entry 3
- Level 1
- Level 2
Your tutor will give you more information about the course at your first session
Are there any entry requirements?
This course will suit you if you’re a beginner, want to work towards further/ higher level of education or develop employability skills. If you don’t have a formal qualification in English or maths then you can take this fully funded course to gain a recognised certificate.
